ENJOY THE GAME

Who gets success in life? Those who work hard would be the answer. It would be more correct to say that those who enjoy their work definitely embrace success. This is true of a student, a doctor or a farmer. 

Truly speaking, enjoyment is the key to success. Students who really enjoy learning are naturally the top scorers. They find study interesting and enjoyable. For them, concentration is not a problem. They simply get attracted towards books like iron nails to a magnet.

Many of you must have read the classic, ‘Adventures of Tom Sawyer’, written by Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is one of the most lovable and interesting characters. We simply love him, his mischief, wit and intelligence.

One day Tom was punished by his aunt. She asked him to whitewash a wall, while other children were out playing. Poor Tom!How miserable he was!

He started working with a heavy heart. A few friends came around. They were curious. Why was Tom engaged in such a dull and boring job?

Soon a brilliant idea crossed his mind. He thought in this manner. Why shouldn’t I pretend I enjoy this work? Without wasting any more time, he told his friends that he enjoyed the work. With a beaming face, he explained the beautiful job of turning the grey wall into a milky-white shining wall. What a job it was!

His friends could not resist the temptation of enjoyment.Each one requested for a share of that job. There was a great demand. Tom rose to the occasion. He charged one penny per child. The work got over within no time. And this time, it was Tom’s pocket that became heavy with the coins.

Tom was really smart. He knew the great attraction of enjoyment. Enjoyment is a million dollar idea. So, if you want success, you simply have to enjoy what you are doing. Enjoy your seminars, assignments and games.
