Words

Words that trickle down our tongue can be sharp swords or sweet honey. We are eager to detect faults in others, but lack the ability to appreciate the good in them.
R.K.Narayanan in his short story ‘Another Community’ remarks that “the good things done by a person or a community reach others very slowly, whereas their evil counter parts disseminate at an amazing pace.”

Why is that we always prefer to be a problem to others rather than to be a solution? It’s not a taboo to appreciate or say ‘well done’ to your friends, relatives, siblings or any body, when they do something, worthy of appreciation.

Try appreciating others as well as yourself. It can make a radical change in the way we think and live. We can be a blessing or a curse to others-the choice is ours.
